Michael Sheuring

Michael is the owner and primary instructor for the company. Michael is a Paramedic with 27 years in public safety. He has been teaching CPR and First Aid for 25 years. Michael is a BLS and ACLS Training Center Faculty for American Heart Association.

Martina Sheuring

Martina is a part time instructor with Code 3 Systems. Martina is a Registered Nurse with over 13 years experience. Martina is both a BLS and ACLS Instructor. Martina has been teaching for over 10 years.

Course Description

The ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. This advanced course highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care, and immediate post-cardiac arrest care. ACLS also covers airway management and related pharmacology.

Course Length:

Initial Course Approximately 16 hours

Renewal Course Approximately 8 hours

Intended Audience

Physicians, nurses, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, staff in intensive care units, emergency or critical care departments, and other professionals who may respond to a cardiovascular emergency.


Course Description

The BLS Healthcare Provider Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The course is intended for certified or non-certified, licensed or nonlicensed healthcare professionals.  

Course Length:

Approximately 4½ hours

Intended Audience

Healthcare providers such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician’s assistants, residents or fellows, or medical or nursing students in training, aides, medical or nursing assistants, police officers, and other allied health personnel.


Course Description

The Community CPR course is designed to provide lay rescuers the fundamental skills and confidence to perform CPR on adult, children, or infants. This course will teach participants in how to recognize and alleviate airway obstructions, the proper use of an AED, and the signs, symptoms, and corrective action for a stroke or heart attack.

Course Length:

Approximately 2 hours

Intended Audience

This course is strongly recommended for all of the general public. This course will not fill the requirements for health care providers.


Course Description

The First Aid course is designed to provide rescuers the fundamental skills to recognize and treat medical emergencies. This course will teach students scene safety, the signs and symptoms of diabetes, stroke, and seizures and how to best treat these emergencies. Students will also learn how to control bleeding, treat for shock and burns, and minimize spinal damage due to head and spine injuries. In addition, students will get hands-on practice in dealing with blood borne pathogen safety, controlling bleeding, and dealing with broken bones and sprains.

Course Length:

Approximately 4 hours

Intended Audience

This course is recommended for the general public whom might respond to medical emergencies. First aid training would be especially valuable to construction, warehouse, and factory workers, coaches, teachers, child care providers, babysitters, security personnel, and facility M.E.R.T (Medical Emergency Response Teams) members.


Course Description

The Instructor Course is intended to teach others CPR, First Aid and AED. The class includes an online portion, classroom, and then be monitored to become an AHA instructor.

Approximately 4 hour

Intended Audience

The Instructor Course is designed for the experienced healthcare provider who wants to increase their knowledge and educate others. The instructor course is for BLS and ACLS providers who have been practicing for at least 2 years
